Preventing P and BR Tags in WordPress Posts

In Wordpress when you create new post or page from admin panel and when you write some content and save that post that in fronted auto add <p>..</p> and <br/> tags which display extra spaces and some times it's effect current Wordpress theme. so it must be remove from stop extra spaces in Wordpress.

This happen because of WordPress's `wpautop` function which is use changes double line-breaks in the text into HTML paragraphs.This functionality provide Wordpress for better posting with default template.This function use `wpautop( $foo, $br )` Where
$foo = The text to be formatted.
$br = Preserve line breaks. When set to true, any line breaks remaining after paragraph conversion are converted to HTML <br />. Line breaks within script and style sections are not affected.
So according to theme you want to remove extra
tag that must enter below code for content and expert as use.

remove_filter( 'the_content', 'wpautop' ); 
//Use for Post Content in post detail page
remove_filter( 'the_excerpt', 'wpautop' ); 
//Use for Post Excerpt in post archive page

Use above code in your running theme's function file.If you want to know your current running theme than login to admin panel Appearance->Themes here display all themes which theme is active that display as `Active`. Find active theme function file in Wordpress root directory `wp-content/themes/THEMENAME/function.php`.

Check Current Version of Wordpress

Some times in developing phase when you want to some customization or want to add some plugin or template than it must check version comparability.so every plugin and theme provide supported Wordpress versions
Wordpress has many version till start of it and each version has some improvement better than previous.
Wordpress launched first version 0.7 on 27th May 2003. from that time to now it change more than 50 versions including beta release.currently Wordpress latest version is 4.1
For any developer or beginner who work with wordpress that it must know that version for use any where like for any customer support,error solution or configuration. Here is way for know current version of wordpress.

Using FTP Check Version

Here is first way if you know server FTP detail or you have code of all website that easy see Wordpress version as below
Open `wp-includes/version.php` file in that find `$wp_version` variable value that define Wordpress version.

Using Source Code Check Version

When you run website in browser that easy to check Wordpress version by that source as below
Press CRL+U for view source and in that find `generator` meta value that define Wordpress version.

Using Coding Check Version

If you are developer that it is easy for check version for enter simple code as below
Enter `echo get_bloginfo('version')` anywhere in header or footer file for display version.

Using Admin Panel Check Version

If you have admin details for website than see Wordpress version as below
1. Login to admin panel open `About WordPress` menu than display Wordpress version.
2. Login to admin panel in footer display current Wordpress version.

Using Add Ons Check Version

Flexslider Conflict With Parallax Scrolling

Now in designing and its HTML integration we always use some banner slider in home page for describe website details by some slider and it is also make website as attractive view for user.
There are lost of slider user in website but now a days mostly use responsive slider so some website also provide use responsive slider that manage by website view.
On of them is Flexslider which is use in development phase or some HTML integration.
When you work with some open source like Wordpress,Drupal,Magento and when you integrate plugin/extension than in that mostly use Flexslider and its like open source and easy to implement.

What is Parallax Scrolling?

Parallax scrolling is a one type of scrolling technique in website design. In that background image move according to screen move.
Some times if you want to use fixed background image that it is set by CSS but when you want to apply many background image with different content or background image move by scroll down than parallax scrolling is best option.

Some times when you use both parallax scrolling and Flexslider than scrolling not work in some browser like Chrome,Safari than here is solution.

Open "flexslider.css" around line 25: .flexslider .slides > li Comment out or remove -webkit-backface-visibility: hidden; (Find Flexslider.CSS according to open source)
In the flexslider initialization script: Specify 'useCSS : false' in your slider options (This is set to true as a default by the flexslider JS and tells the browser to use CSS3 3D transforms if they're available.Also its working without this features)

WordPress provide `Revision` functionality also for save post revision it is like previews post operation. this functionality use when you change some changes of any post today and after that you want to receive previous post than its save as revision and you directly save post as previous post.

Add New File Type in Adobe Dreamweaver

If you use Dreamweaver regularly than you must change Dreamweaver files for support some extra file type like if you use Magento than use PHTML extension in Dreamweaver and some like many other file type than not provide by default Dreamweaver so you must change some setting for support new file type in that.

Here describe how to support PHTML file type in Dreamweaver.

No that PHTML is supported Magento file extension that related to PHP so add here in that group.

Below steps for support new (phtml) extension in dreamweaver.

1. Add .phtml extension in your Application Data

Location of file accoring to operating system as below

For XP: Documents and Settings -> User – > Application Data -> Adobe -> Dreamweaver[Your Version] – > Configuration -> Extensions.txt

For Windows7: Documents and Settings -> User – > AppData -> Roaming -> Adobe -> Dreamweaver[Your Version] – > Configuration -> Extensions.txt

For Vista: Users -> [user] -> AppData > Roaming -> Adobe -> Dreamweaver[Your Version] -> Configuration -> Extensions.txt

For Mac OS X: Users -> [Home Folder] -> Library -> Application Support -> Adobe -> Dreamweaver[Your Version] -> [en_US or other locale (only for version CS4)] – > Configuration -> Extensions.txt

Then open Extensions.txt add ‘PHTML’ in the first line and in the PHP line. Which should like-

3. Add PHTML to MMDocumentTypes.xml

For XP & Vista: Program Files -> Adobe ->Dreamweaver[Your Version] -> Configuration -> DocumentTypes -> MMDocumentTypes.xml

For Windows7: Program files -> Adobe ->Dreamweaver[Your Version] -> Configuration -> DocumentTypes -> MMDocumentTypes.xml

Mac OS X: Applications > Adobe Dreamweaver [Your Version] > configuration > DocumentTypes > MMDocumentTypes.XML

Now open the MMDocumentTypes.XML and add ‘phtml’ to the end of the following lines in the xml files. Which should like-

winfileextension=”php,php3,php4,php5,phtml”

macfileextension=”php,php3,php4,php5,phtml”

Now restart Dreamweaver and check new file type supported in dreamweaver.

Some extension like PHTML,TPL extension supported in new version CS5 and CS6 but this information useful for support any extra file type in Dreamweaver.

Uninstall Wine Completely in Ubuntu

For Ubuntu operating system user well known about wine.
Wine is Ubuntu software package for run windows application in Ubuntu as Ubuntu operating system.
It install from Ubuntu software center or from terminal by `sudo-apt get install wine`.

when you have not use wine or not support for your window software than must uninstall it to release space and make Ubuntu performance high.
Here process for remove Wine complacently from Ubuntu (any version of Ubuntu)

Open terminal by click ALT+T
Than write/copy below command in terminal
```
sudo apt-get --purge remove wine
```
Here if you install wine1.7 or wine1.5 than enter wine version in below command
Remove wine directories and all sub folders from system.
After deleting all related folders Enter below commend in terminal.
```
sudo apt-get remove --purge wine
```
If you got any error in below command than try after restarting system.

Than enter below command for clean system

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get autoclean
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get autoremove

Now after complete below process exit terminal and restart system than check wine remove complete from Ubuntu.

Remove Blank Lines in Dreamweaver

This information is for person who use Dreamweaver regularly they fetch this type of problem like some times display unnecessary blank lines or extra spaces in files.

Some times when upload many times than files display many lines which is necessary to remove.

In your Dreamweaver

Press CTRL + F (Or Open Find or Replace From Edit menu).
In `Find` Box Enter [\r\n]{2,}
In `Replace` Box Enter \n
Tick `Use regular expression` checkbox.
Click on Replace All Button.
Here also replace from current document or folder select in `Find in` dropdown.

Now see results that spaces removes.

This functionality work on all supported files like HTML, XML, CSS, PHP, JSP, JAVASCRIPT...

Adobe Dreamweaver in Ubuntu

If you use ubuntu and you want to install Dreamweaver in that than it is hard for install it.
In ubuntu not support exe file so your Dreamweaver setup file for ubtuntu any version is not use in that.
Ubuntu only support deb file for install any program in that and Adobe not provide deb files for Dreamweaver.

Install latest wine in ubuntu.
Than download Adobe Dreamweaver 8 from many sources.
Right click on exe setup file.
Open with wine.
Install complate setup as window.
Now run Dreamweaver in ubuntu using wine.
